Antoinette Foster and Daniel Duldig attend BETA 2010 with great success

On the 19th February 2010 we travelled to the UK to attend the British Equestrian Trade Fair in Birmingham which was held over three days. Everything ran like clockwork due to our wonderful warehouse manager Sharyn organising all the freight to arrive well in advance. It was very cold, snowing and wet.

BETA was held at the NEC which was located behind our hotel so we simply had to walk across each morning after breakfast.

BETA 2010

We have never attended a trade fair of such huge proportions it was a real experience and there were so many exhibitors and so many people.

BETA 2010

We spoke to potential distributors from a number of different countries and have continued contact with them. We are poised to appoint a distributor in France this month, which we are very excited about as we love Paris!!

We have strong interest from a couple UK companies and we hope that they will be able to bolster our existing agent Roselands Saddlery, of which we have had a vey long association.

After Beta we had a 4 day break in London and actually did a bit of sightseeing too, unfortunately the food has not really improved, but the hotel we stayed at was lovely, the Ashburn.
We flew from London to Copenhagen to visit our agents in Denmark, Jeanne Sand from The Down Under Company.

Jeanne Sand our Danish agent since 2000

Jeanne has been our agent since 2000 and also supplies Finland,Norway,Sweden and Switzerland. Whilst in Denmark we conducted a professional seminar which was covered by Denmarks premiere horse magazine The Danish Horse Magazine, it was a brilliant concept and something we would like to repeat in other countries especially Australia.

Myself (Equine Nutritional Therapist) Carsten the amazing, incredible magnet man, Charlotta a top class massage therapist, a world class farrier and two leading Beriters including Bjarne Elfsen (who may be coming to OZ for clinics this year).

Bjarne

It was a wonderful day, we all bounced ideas off each other and accessed a lovely 18hh Danish warmblood, who had a few problems, hopefully now sorted out.
We also met our agents from Finland, gorgeous girls and so eager to learn more.

Jeanne has a lovely property in Birkerod about 45 minutes from Copenhagen with an indoor arena, lovely stables, and a very lovely house where we stayed. Jeanne has successfully campaigned horses to Grand Prix level and sells Hi Form products into performance horse stables and studs only, Jeanne has been working with some of the top European Dressage Stables, where we have had amazing success, even the vets are astonished.

From Denmark we flew to Paris for a well earned break, we just loved this beautiful city, the food the people, the fashion even the transport, BRING ON OUR FRENCH AGENT!!!

Eiffel tower by night

If it means we can spend more time in France/Paris yes thanks. We really spent every moment doing something different, we visited all the places you are supposed to visit, and Daniel has such an amazing knowledge of French history, it was like a history class everywhere we went, fascinating stuff indeed.

Versailles

Antoinette - Versailles

We visited the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Versailles, Les Invalids and many more, with a little highlight in Versailles where we were able to see a performance by the Cavalry de Equestrienne it was truly brilliant. We had a beautiful apartment with a view of the Eifel Tower, which we naturally visited, wow was it freezing up there, but worth every moment for the view alone.

Yes Paris we will be back sooner rather than later.

View from the Eiffel Tower - freezing but amazing

Napoleon's Marango (One of them)

We flew from Paris (so sad to leave) and onto Dubai for 2 full days of meetings which had been coordinated by Austrade and they did a fabulous job, we had 5 meetings in two days and it was so full on, Dubai is so different, sand, sand and then an oasis, very strange. We had great success in Dubai and have just appointed a new agent there The Polariser of Medical Supplies.
We feel they will do an excellent job and they will be taking on the Pet range also.
All in all a very successful trip now comes all the follow up work.

News From Hayley Beresford in Switzerland

Lipica CDI

My first international competition since my move to Switzerland was an absolute blast. A great team, great venue, great weather and great crowd of people and competitors made this weekend one of the most enjoyable competitions I have experienced in Europe. I was somewhat anxious to get my first competition on the way. Reli had returned from a 3 month competition spell in order to freshen him up for our Kentucky campaign, Ferra and I were entering our first competition together and I also took one of my youngsters for the small tour.
