Hi Form's Stables

Hi Form is principally run by mother and daughter team Antoinette and Nicci Foster and below you can meet their own horses, the inspirations behind their work every day.

Antoinette's Pretty Movin' MR (EFA name Hi Form Symmetry) sadly passed away on Thursday, January 31 but he was her constant partner since 1999 and they have competed successfully in Dressage over the years, he will be very sadly missed. We have included him on this page Nicci has very recently set up her own stud MB Quarter Horses and below we meet her stallion Megabyte.

Megabyte

Stable Name: Mega

Breed: Quarter Horse A2 Registered

Sire: CD Rom

Dam: Kings Golden Era

Height: 15.3hh

Age:6

Career Highlights: 2006 Qld Reining Futurity Champion, 2006 NRHA Nationals Finalist Open Futurity, 2007 Top Ten Open Derby Reining Australia Nationals; 2006 3rd Rocky Rush Campdraft; numerous placings in campdrafting and reining.

Diet: Mega is fed once a day and is on very good pasture. His feed includes 1 x Dipper Oaten Chaff and 1/2 x Dipper Whole Oats. His supplements are CompletaVite, ProflamAid and TopLine and he gets 2 Large Scoops of each. When he is stabled he also gets Breathe but we generally don't stable in Summer at all.

Why do I feed this way?: Mega has just finished his breeding duties for the year and is coming back in to medium level work in preparation for our first show on January 25 at the Summer Royal. I feed ProflamAid as he is a Reining Horse and there is a fair amount of strain on muscles and joints, especially for a 6 year old. TopLine is a staple for Mega as being a stud horse, it is nice for his mood and keeps his tone and top line in peak condition all year long.

Future Plans: Mega has his last Derby year as a reiner in 2009 so our plans are to get him to the Vic and National Derby shows. Amongst that he will also be started in Hunter Under Saddle, Working Hunter and Western Riding which he will compete in for the first time in 2009. We are wanting to show Mega's amazing versatility by trying as many disciplines we can.

Nicci and her partner John have many horses, you can visit their stud, MB Quarter Horses here.
