Aberdeen Farm Performance Horses

Discipline - Dressage 

Aberdeen Farm specialise in breeding high performance dressage horses.  We imported a couple of mares from Europe that were competing either at Advanced Level or Grand Prix and have produced some lovely foals by several different sires.

We have 7 horses now in the stable in training, ranging from just broken in 3yos through to 12yo competing Small Tour.

Using our purpose-built facilities and highly experienced and passionate staff, the farm is dedicated to training these dressage horses.

The first home bred foal is now 5 years old and has competed in her first competitions this year.

Our horses are ridden and trained by a couple of professional riders.  These riders take pride in the fact that all horses are cross trained.  With the facilities at Aberdeen Farm they have access to not only indoor and outdoor arenas, but a beautiful 1600 metre sand track and hills.  This type of work shows in happy horses who enjoy their work as do the riders.

We use Hi Form feeds and our horses look fantastic.  Our favourite is the Equicubes which delivers balanced daily nutrition and then we add the necessary supplements to keep our horses in tip top condition. Each horse is an individual and therefore we can be flexible with the Hi Form supplements, particularly when we have 10 horses on the property all with their own particular requirements.
