How long you have been riding? 26 years (I got my first pony when I was 4).
How many horses do you own / train? I have 7 horses. Sir Helmut, my wonderful Westphalian Para Dressage/Dressage horse who we were so lucky and fortunate to have brought over from Denmark last year (October 2024). Stolzenherz, my 4yo eventer (based with and competed by another rider). I have a beautiful rising 3yo Totilas gelding, Salito, who is out of my previous Para Dressage horse, Elfenzauber (IMP) (Herzensdieb x Buddenbrock). I have a gorgeous 7 month old filly, Elfenblume, by Helium (Millennium) who is also out of Elfenzauber. Then I have another rising 3yo, Hohenherz, eventing bred by Polartanz and out of our premium Quest For Fame xx mare. Finally, two premium Trakehner registered thoroughbred mares, Hell Of A Quest xx (Quest For Fame xx) and So Lucy xx (Torrential xx).
Greatest achievements? Being long-listed for the 2024 Paris Paralympics Games, being on the Australian Para Dressage High Performance Squad and scoring over 70% in all but one of my Para Dressage tests since starting my new partnership with Sir Helmut.
Your goals? My goals are broken down into smaller goals with a big end goal. In order they are, continue to score over 70% in every Para Dressage test and improve on our work/scores, be on the Australian Team at the CPEDI qualifying events to qualify Australia for the World Games, make it onto the Australian Para Dressage High Performance Squad Green Squad, be short-listed for the upcoming World Games and Paralympic Games, and make it onto the Australian Para Dressage Team for the 2026 World Equestrian Games in Aachen and the 2028 LA Paralympic Team.
Favourite Hi Form product and what you use it for? I love all of the Hi Form products, but my favourite has got to be ProflamAid Plus. ProflamAid Plus is for muscle and joint support and I have used this product with every riding horse for almost 20 years, back when I was eventing and have continued to with my dressage horses. My first serious eventer (Bukowski, a little 15.2hh thoroughbred) I got when I was 11 and he was also 11, and it turned out that they were selling him because they couldn’t keep him sound. Mum did some research, came across this amazing natural product and reached out to Antoinette. I did a lot with Bukowski, 2* eventing and junior show jumping at the Royals and World Cups (and up to 130cm open) and he retired at 19 having never had a lame day in his life. I continued to ride him and take him hunting until he was 24 and he died at an impressive age of 28.
